29th September 2023 – Using Red Packets (ang baos), our trainers taught a Corporate class of up to 40 pax to create two different styles of Ang Bao Lanterns!

This unique craft originates from China and has a history of thousands of years! Red lanterns are popular decorative items in China. You can find red lanterns, small or large, globular or square hung along the streets, in parks, in shops, and in Chinese houses. Almost every major Chinese festival features lanterns, especially during Chinese New Year, and, of course, during the Lantern Festival.

Ang Bao Lanterns are not limited to only being created during Chinese New Year, these lanterns are an auspicious to hang around the house/shops as they bring in good luck.
