Chongfu School children thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Peranakan Tile Painting Program led by artist Jacquelyn! The children’s learning about the rich history and vivid designs of Peranakan tiles, from their intricate floral patterns to their bold, cheery hues, filled the classroom with passion and vibrancy. As the children eagerly painted their own tiles, they experimented with various colors and shapes to make each piece distinctively their own. They did this with passion and brushes in hand.
Students proudly displayed their exquisite masterpieces to their teachers and friends. In addition to learning about the beauty of Peranakan art, the students had a great time using color and creativity to express themselves during this happy and unforgettable experience.
