The students of Haig Girls’ School were thrilled to have Jacquelyn for an engaging, hands-on Wire Art Workshop, where imagination truly came to life. With soft clay, strong foam bases, and multicolored wires. While creating, they learned about Singaporean artist Victor Tan, a visually impaired wire sculptor whose resilience and artistry inspired them to see creativity beyond limitations.
They studied numerous wire-bending techniques — twisting, looping, and coiling to produce designs that stood erect and balanced wonderfully. While some students experimented with abstract drawings that demonstrated their uniqueness and inventiveness, others created charming creatures and animals.
The girls marveled at how their thoughts came to life before their very eyes as they proudly showed their completed masterpieces. Every learner was eager to continue discovering the limitless potential of wire art after the stimulating and happy session.
