2nd Dec 2017 – A group of Young Entrepreneurs embarking on a project ‘My First Break’ with Southeast CDC was introduced to a crafty art workshop by Jacquelyn Soo from ArtStories.
They were given Mason Jars (glass containers) and taught how to repurpose/decorate and give a new life to recyclable materials. The theme was for the Christmas holidays but many of them chosen to express their own ideas/art on the mason jars.
My First Break (MFB) is a youth programme that trains youths residing in South East District with basic business skills and knowledge while giving them the opportunity to conduct their own micro businesses. They also get to broaden their horizons with an overseas learning trip. https://cdc.org.sg/SouthEast/What_We_Do/Youth/My_First_Break
We were glad they had an enjoyable time with us and wish them success in their project!
