Chinese Ink Painting for Senior Volunteers

26 Jan 2018 – ArtStories conducted a Chinese Ink Painting workshop to a group of senior volunteers who had never tried ink painting and were a little reluctant to dip their brushes into the ink and apply on paper. Yet, throughout the 2 hour workshop, they managed to overcome their fears and produced a wide range of interesting images representing bamboo, blossom flowers, birds, panda and mountainous landscape.

We were really appreciative of their positive attitudes in trying something new and the results of their artwork had also garnered a few keen participants wishing to learn more about the traditional art form. The volunteers are active volunteers supported by South East Community Development Council.

Look at their amazing paintings!
