15th April 2018 – ArtStories collaborated with Kaki Bukit CC in a ground-breaking ceremony commemorate the renovation of the CC into an upgrade integrated facility that will be open for public in 2020.
ArtStories provided colourful tiles and guided residents of mostly elderly to hand-print their palms onto the tiles using acrylic paints. The residents are supportive of the new building and many came up to us wanting to make memories. Adviser to Aljunied GRCs, Mr Shamsul Kamar opened the ceremony and added his palm print onto a tile as well.
We had hand-printed 100 tiles for the CC and carefully coated them with varnish so that it will last till 2020 for the installation of these tiles in the new building.
