At Toa Payoh Central Community Centre, participants had an exciting and creative time making Oriental Fan paintings and Dragon Head Tile paintings. Immersed in the beauty of traditional Asian art, they carefully painted intricate designs on folding fans, using graceful brushstrokes to depict delicate floral patterns, birds, and mythical symbols.
At the same time, others focused on Dragon Head Tile paintings, capturing the power and elegance of the mythical dragon in vibrant colors and bold strokes. The room was filled with a sense of concentration and joy as participants skillfully applied their brushes to bring these culturally rich designs to life. As they worked, they shared their artistic techniques and admired each other’s creations, creating a lively, collaborative atmosphere.
The workshop not only allowed participants to express their creativity but also gave them a deeper appreciation for the traditional art forms of the East, leaving everyone with beautiful, personalized pieces to cherish.
