Our little preschoolers went on a colourful journey into Peranakan culture through a fun and hands-on art workshop! They started with drawing and colouring activities, where the children explored different parts of Peranakan culture, from delicious traditional food and colourful clothing to the charming details of Peranakan shophouses.
The fun countinued with vibrant motifs, patterns and traditions of the Peranakans before creating their very own tie-dyed and painted fabrics inspired by these beautiful designs. Through art, colours and plenty of creativity, the preschoolers had a wonderful time discovering the richness of Peranakan heritage while creating artworks that were uniquely their own!
