28 Dec 2018 – ArtStories collaborated with Raffles Hotel to create a special charity workshop with Melrose Home and their wonderful children!
I taught them to upcycle old t-shirts into tote bags that require no sewing at all and we also upcycled cardboard boxes using the technique of Découpage.
It was a one-on-one session, one adult to a child so these children were really blessed to interact with the loving adults and getting tips and help to complete the two crafty items
The workshop was held at The Daily Affairs Cafe in Cairnhill Community Club, just opposite the Newton Circus Food Centre. ArtStories will be collaborating with The Daily Affairs Cafe for more crafty workshops in 2019! Stay updated for our new works in 2019!
*There were no photos of any faces taken to protect the image of the children from the home.
