21st June 2019 – My very first UV Resin Jewelry Class with Hwi Yoh CC took place last week!
I was super excited to share this craft with the participants and well from the results, you could tell they were equally crazy and excited with this workshop!
We made floral jewelry pendants at first and I taught them the proper way to add the resin and how to use the UV lamp to dry(cure) the resin. I also showed them the proper way to handle the dried flowers and recommended that they could also dry the flowers by themselves.
Then we moved onto the glitter and texture mixing of resin and this was was got the children excited as they could explore colours and texture while experimenting on a new medium.
I hope everyone would be able to wear their own jewelry pieces with pride!
