13th July 2019 – I was part of the Aljunied Arts Festival with The Artists Village (SG) to conduct an interactive and fun art installation workshop for children and families held at Bedok Reservoir Park.
The weather was good with lots of sun and some grey clouds, lots of splashing good times with our inflatable swimming pools and little sailboats made by the children!
We taught them basic science; kinetic energy used to push the sailboat forward which enables it to move. We used rubbers bands, a propellor, a sail made from hard cardboard and recycled mineral water bottles! A great way to incorporate upcycling values to the little ones too!
