April, May, June 2019 – Back track to one of my commissioned art installation pieces for PassionArts Festival which will take place on 10th August at Wisma Geylang Serai.
I conceptualised a special collective community embroidery art piece for Kampong Chai Chee CC.
We drew in a lot of seniors and young children wanting to learn how to embroider onto the pastel coloured cloth and round loops. Our images are all icons and symbols of Singapore and adding Singlish Puns to the collection.
The final artwork will be displayed by 10th August so stay tune for the final piece!
