Month of July & August 2019 – I have been working with Bedok CC to create the artwork for their Large Format Art Installation to celebrate their PassionArt Festival that will be launched in conjunction with National Day Celebration at Wisma Geylang Serai on the 10th of August 2019.
The concept of the artwork is a Kaleidoscopic house made entirely from polycarbonate transparent material that has been painted with colourful Peranakan inspireed motifs and designs, held up together with steel frame and lit up in the inside with lights to reflect the hues and glow of the stained glass effect in the house.
I will upload the completed artwork when it is ready. Meanwhile, please enjoy the photos from the 4 sessions of community engagement where residents, committee members and students from National Public School came to help us paint and create the work together!
